Both my S5 and note 4 allow me to read emails in bmw online. BT connection is great and i never suffer any problem at all. BT audio streaming works flawlessly and i can perfectly control the sound, tracks from my steering wheel or idrive

Does this require the BMW Office option to get text messages? I don't have that on my vehicle, so only have limited apps in BMW connected mode with my LG G3 running kitkat 4.4.2 and no visibility of text messages from my phone.

I've progressed to the point that I've figured out how to control bluetooth or usb connected pandora through idrive or steering wheel selector (at least "go to next track")...still irks me that the meta data (artist, title, art) doesn't show up anywhere

i have an almost brand new 2015 x35i with tech package, so there are some obvious improvements in what comes stock OEM versus....what it was in prior years. but "i want it all...."

That's a good question for bobbylechat.

The weird thing is email and text messages work fine with my BB Passport. I could only get intermittent text with the Samsung S5.
