2014 X3 - factory reset idrive
Hey guys I have a question which may have a simple solution that I'm missing. I have a 2014 X3 with navigation and I am transferring my lease to someone else. I want to reset the idrive so as to remove profiles, addresses, connected phones, settings, etc. I can't find any setting to reset or delete profiles. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

Here are three things which you can do, all of which are listed in the X3's manuals:
Resetting profiles The settings of the active profile are reset to their default values. 1. "Settings" 2. "Profiles" The current profile is selected. 3. Open "Options". 4. "Reset current profile" Resetting Universal Remote Deleting stored functions Press and hold the left and right button on the interior rearview mirror simultaneously for approximately 20 seconds until the LED flashes rapidly. All stored functions are deleted. The functions cannot be deleted individually. Unpairing a device 1. "Settings" 2. "Connections" 3. "Bluetooth®" 4. Highlight the device that is to be unpaired. 5. Open "Options". 6. "Remove device" |
