How to determine if I have EDC or not

Guys,

Just picked up my 30d.

I will post pics soon.

ANy idea how i would be able to tell if i have EDC?

I have the "mode" selector next to the gear shift lever, and i can choose different profiles (i.e. sport, comfort, etc.) but in the spec sheet the dealer gave me i have standard suspenion...

Would love to know if i have it or not.

Then you don't...

The driving profiles affect three factors, gearbox and throttle response; steering stiffness, suspensions

The "mode" selector affects with different combination at least one of the three, but the message you get is the same on the Navi screen whatever your specs are.

You could take a eyeball at a suspension strut. Put the steering on lock and look behind a front strut. If it has a control unit something like a donut fitted on the back of it with wires attached, you have EDC.

Or go to bmwvin.com and enter the last 7 digits of your VIN (you should find this in your vehicle registration documents or on certain places around the car).
