External temperature warning (chime)
Is there a way to disable the warning chime for outside temperatures?
I don't expect this chime will turn off automatically until next May.

It's been a "feature" of the last 2 BMWs I've owned. I believe it's designed to remind you to mind your driving when it's close to freezing out, when black ice is a possibility.
If there is a way to disable it, I haven't found it... |

Sounds like coding would be the option to fix it.

OK, I have to admit that it was cool the first time the temperature dropped to 3c but it's getting a little 'old' now.
I'm glad I'm not the only one irritated by this feature.
