Trunk space question

Do you know if the trunk can fit two 20" kids bike without folding the rear seats?

Probably not, at least with the front wheels attached. However, with the standard 60/40 seat or the optional 40/20/40 split rear seat, you could fold down one 40% side to easily fit the bikes and still be able to put (2) kids in the remaining back seat width.

The dimensions of the storage area behind the rear seat is 43 inches wide X 36 inches deep (at floor level) and 23 inches deep (at the seat top level) because of the seat back angle and the considerable forward angle of the rear hatch.

Which BMW Cargo mat is in the picture? Is this the one that comes with the collapsible box?

Love it!

We use it all the time for all kinds of stuff. The really nice part is that it has those interlocking "bumps" and "dimples" that lock to the cargo cover. It does not slide around EVER. It's made of one continuous piece of plastic, so will hold liquids if anything leaks. I wish I could purchase another box (or two) from BMW. One is not enough.
