Will wheels from an old X3 fit the F25?
I have a first generation X3.
I have an extra set of wheels with snow tires mounted on them. Will these wheels fit the new X3? |

My E83 doesn't have TPM transmitters it uses the ABS/traction control sensors.

with the same offset, +0.5" on wheel width wouldn't change a lot the driving behaviour. the wheel would stick +0.25" farther outside. the added weight is the only thing that MAY be perceptible, assuming you're having the same tire width on both setups.
concerning 17" vs 18", there is no difference assuming you're having the same overall tire diameter On the iDrive system, there is no problem, if the 4 tires have the same overall diameter, and that the TPMS is well placed. on the xDrive system, no problem, with the same conditions. the speedometer and odometer will be off, though. |

8.5" width wheels MAY be heavier than 8" wheels
We're splitting hair here... Generally speaking, heavier wheels will add unsprung weight to the car, and may feel bloatier/more boat-like for extreme sizes (like if you were adding 10.5" width wheels, with +15lbs at each corner of weight to move through tight curbs) I don't think there will be much difference going from 8.5 to 8.0, especially since the offset (ET) is the same |

Gonna bring this thing back from the dead. Is the inverse true? Will F25 wheels work on an E83 using E83 lugs? ie, a set of 19" F25 X3 M-Package wheels with 275 rear/245 fronts?
