2016 X3 Sapphire Black

Hello,

First post here, I took delivery of the subject above and after putting it in the garage for some Klasse Sealant Glaze I noticed that the gas cap color is the flat black as opposed to Sapphire black. Is this normal?

You mean the gas door? Paint covers and cure differently on plastic compared to metal and under certain light it will look different. Take it outside and take a look, it shouldn't be noticeable unless it's been resprayed incorrectly.
