Just wondering if anyone knows if there will be an HUD update like what is in the f80



What does the current f25 LCI HUD look like?

Anyone code their HUD to something cool?

? That's what the HUD looks like - at least in 2016-17 X3/4's.

The current HUD looks like that anyway when sat Nav instructions are on

My 2011 X3 M-Sport's HUD is similar, but there are a few differences:
- No speed limit displayed
- No lane indicators (but I dont have lane departure warning)
- My HUD's color is mostly orange

Short of replacing the actual HUD along with the software, I dont think there is a way to get the new HUD in an older X3

Are you sure??? all the newer F25/26's do not have the LDW displaying on the HUD by default. It needs to be coded if the car came with the option.


Mine looks exactly like that. There were two items i had to code to get it to look like that which are Lane departure Warning and Blinkers in HUD. Otherwise everything showed in your pic is there. I have a LCI F25 with all options.

The F80 does not look like that. The font size in the HUD is bigger and hence some of the artist info is trimmed as there is only so much space on the entertainment grid. Also is does not turn red at night. It Stays white just dimmer. I haven't been able to change the HUD items or size at all on my F80.
