New BlackBerry Z10

Hi folks,

I recently bought the new blackberry 10 (z10) and paired it to my x3. I instantly started receiving text and emails on the navigating system. No configuring etc whatsoever and it worked as soon as it was paired. I can read all messages or have them read out loud by the navi! I have not updated the nav software since purchase of vehicle (Feb 2012) build. I had no idea what it would do after pairing, very nice surprise!!! Love it!

Very cool. I'm looking forward to a replacement for my BB. I hope the Z10 is better than my current phone. My Wife's iPhone 5 is so much better than my current 9800 torch.

Yes it was nice to see a new device fully work with the BMW for a change when I connected it up.

BMW has focused on BB and IoS. I hope they can focus more on Android now, since that seems to be what most people are buying. Support is more complicated with all the manufacturers and devices and expecting cradles for everything is unrealistic. Maybe they could at least enhance the USB interface to provide more capability and apps.

Coming from the torch, you will love the z10. It's the best screen keypad I have used! Non of my previous cells (bold, iPhone 4s) worked with bmw... The bb 10 was seamless!
