TPMS

Hello,

Does anyone have the experience with Costco wheels? Does it fit any standard aluminum TPMS recommended by the wheel manufacturer?

Thanks

Barry

I donīt understand your question.

BMW have - at least - one German supplier of TPMS system/valves. You can buy fully functional pirate TPMS-valves (incl. batteries) for about half price. Shop will calibrate valves to your vehicle - no problem.

The hole for valve in the wheel from Costco looks like that it doesn't have a right angle, I worry about that it can't fit a TPMS. The aluminum TPMS has to screw in, so the angle should be 90 degree.

Thanks

You are using a wheel purchased from Costco? Not a BMW wheel?

I looked at Costco - luckily we donīt have them here.

I would never buy a rim to my car from a low-cost - Chinese only? - warehouse!

All "normal" rim producers, of course, have designed for TPMS - Costco supplier might have missed that.

Yes, it is from costco.ca. Costco has wheel made for BMW, so no need an extra kit set. It is convenient when switch wheels.

Not to the latest standard for TPMS it would seem.

Are you buying at Costco and putting them together your self ? ? ?
Otherwise its on them to ensure its installed and mounted properly.
By what your saying nothing has been installed, mounted or balanced
as yet. Let them mount one up then see if your right. There are Tpms
valves that have an angled base.
Its your vehicle.

Nothing has been done yet. Yes, I will buy wheel & tire from costco, but I will buy TPMS somewhere else. Just try to understand more before I buy it.

Costco has wheels which made in Canada with good price.

Thanks
