Thanks jt. Rather than depend on tested HP figures from independent firms, I chose to use the publicized figures from Manufacturers as standards. I have no reason to doubt Dinan's numbers, nor any other automotive performance team for that matter, but I would like to expand this simulation to include SUV/SAVs from other Mnfrs, so sensed it would be prudent to use the numbers they claim for consistency.
With that said, I can change the HP to any number one wishes to see, so when I get a chance I'll run all of the G01s together, then do a focused study on your request - the G01 - M at 484 HP, and then one with the 'tuned' version at 516 HP. Those will be added in the Acceleration files thread to keep this centered one on the Wish List. Thanks again for reading. |

As the G01 (3rd Gen) X3 will be more refined from an aerodynamic perspective, is it possible the raised X3 Model number decal currently behind the front wheel well has become obsolete? With the 'breathers' so sleek behind the front wheels it seems the raised numbers interrupt this proposed smooth-appearing flow pattern.
54. Consider removing the raised X3 application from the side panels for a more refined aerodynamic look |

Because that's the way to go... you don't wear your suits with visible decals either (you strip them down before 1st use because the decals are just for the shelf) |

Perhaps the G01 can now come standard 'without the badge' - only to be placed if one were to request it, to enhance the aerodynamic form for the uninformed. |

hmm I got one more:
55: Remove that nasty hard plastic in the rear hatch. If anything moves around in the rear cargo area and hits the rear hatch, it'll get scratched in white or other color. |

Considering the number of threads discussing the best tires for our performance-oriented X3s, if the option to have space for a compact spare tire and spare as previously requested [see #13 by woodchuck1] is not fulfilled, would it be possible to at least allow a reasonable choice of Mnfrs for the X3's run flats?
56. Allow consumer to choose from a short list of Tire Mnfrs rather than randomly assigning |

That!
Multiple gray, whites, black is just boring. They even removed the red leather (that I like a lot in mine). When you see the colors you can get the Evoque in... (or, lots of them are horendous but still ;-)) Personally I want a working clutch. I'm on my third pedalbox, and the one they just installed as part of service is behaving worse than my second set!

Lots of great suggestions here...but really BMW needs to make more items as standard equipment...especially in comparison to other manufacturers.
Standard items should be: - Xenon headlights (with LED and Laser as upgrades...although laser may not be part of a 3 series) - Leather (Come on, vinyl...really?) - Full-sized screen (the small screen looks out of place and pathetic) - Sport seats (the Ultimate Driving Machine should really have this; additionally seats similar to the X5M can be a nice upgrade) - LED Tail lights (how these aren't already part of the 3 series is pathetic...especially considering so many competitors have it) - Rear view camera and PDC (this is a 2016 DOC (USA) mandatory item I think) - Satellite Radio (I mean come on...it's for 2017!) - Comfort Access (this is the biggest BS item BMW doesn't equip as standard--which comes standard on a freaking Hyundai!) Beyond these items I get that packages cost money and people need to pay to play...but these items are befitting as standard for vehicles and especially BMWs nowadays. I don't mind BMW jack up the MRSP for these options to be standard, as it is damn hard to find one on dealer lot right now to have all these "luxury basics". In my area the cars are either premium + cold weather package or fully loaded with crazy msrp but still missing dynamic handling package... |

Offer a xDrive25d model with L4 2.0 diesel and 231 CP. It would be the sweet spot of the range. I really don't understand why it is not offered on F25. You have it in X1, in X5 but not in X3.... Why?

Although we're getting late in the design phase wished to add... Even at tailgate maximum height setting (menu-settings-tailgate) ground clearance is only 5'-11 3/4" necessitating leaning down when passing underneath for those even in the 5' 11" height range (as shoes usually add at least 3/4"), and that is unladen. While (whilst) BMW and other Mnfrs probably follow a maximum guideline for the exterior's highest point, if there is anyway BMW could make the tailgate thickness thinner it could improve this clearance.
57. If possible, improve ground clearance of fully-opened tailgate |

58. Dynamic Handling Package similar to X5 available... air springs/dampers and active roll stabilization.
59. Bring a 3.0 litre diesel 6-cylinder to North America. 60. Comfort seats option (Sport seats are good, comfort seats for this style of vehicle should be available. Heck, they had them on the first gen X3). 61. I know this was stated before, but bring back the brake pedal feel of all my previous E90 3-series and all previous 3-series for that matter. |

Its rather disappointing to note that on the just released F48 X1 they have the same 5 pre-set openings evenly spread across the opening range with the bottom 4 positions totally useless with some people reporting the 5th fully open position too tall for their garages. BMW don't seem to listen. Tony |

Hopefully BMW can improve on that aspect in the G01 and allow for more ground clearance as well. |
