2014 has totally upgraded idrive. faster processor, faster graphics, better resolutions. lager HD. I too had the choice of 2013 or 14. 14 is def way to go.

Is it possible to retro the instrument cluster of the 2014 to the 2013 ones?

I asked the same question at the dealer for my F11 because I missed the cutoff for the black panel display when I ordered. The display unit was £1500(UK Pounds) plus the huge labour cost .... needless to say I didn't bother MS

I cant remember the exact time quoted but combined with the coding cost it came out at well over £2000 (inc UK VAT @ 20% ) MS

I recently saw a guy on youtube disassembling and replacing the instrument cluster. The whole thing wasnt longer than 90 seconds. You put two screwdrivers in the holes above the instrument cluster and push it out. Then you just disconect the wires and replace the cluster.
