Help! Lowering kit for X3/X4.

I have found three suppliers of lowering kit for X3/X4. With the kit X4 looks RIGHT - not a coupe on stilts.

It is the same springs X3-X4.

Nobody in the X4 community has any experience.

Anybody here that have experience of 35 mm (1 3/8") lowering?

Comfort?
Performance?
Riding on the bumpstops?

Hi tjalle. I posted a similar thread a few months ago regarding ride comfort when lowering of f25 . Did not get any helpful answers... From what I researched, the f25 and f26 will have same springs. However depending on where you live, you'll need paper work confirming that the springs are allowed on your car. I read that eibach give a similar ride to the m-sport springs. Speaking from my own experience on my Audi s3, h+r springs are way harder.... Would not recommend them for an suv/sav. Hope that helps.
Cheers, andy

Hi pokerface. Thanks for the link. If we put the suspension topic aside.... How would you rate the acceleration change between your 18" and 20" Tires? I'm running 20" kelleners in the summer and 19" m-sport in the winter: last week when I put the 19" winterwheels back on, my car felt so much lighter!! Hence I'm wondering whether 20" are always so much heavier (sluggish acceleration:-( ) or if it's my kelleners that are so heavy.
What 20" wheels do you have?

I got these: Style 311, Staggered 20"

Yes, the wheels and tires combo are much heavier than the stock 18" equipment. I did see about 10-15% dip in fuel economy. Worse for me because I drive mostly city during the week. On road trips, highway driving it's a bit better, but could still feel the difference.

Also note that the original tires were low rolling resistance. The summer tires are much grippier, hence contributing to the sluggishness.
