New to the X3 world. I picked up a low mileage 2017 X3 with the M package on it. Looks great however the brakes appear to be the normal brakes.

Was there an option for the M brakes? Is a swap as easy as new calipers, rotors and pads? Is a larger brake booster or master cylinder needed?

I'll consider the silence a no.

Any thoughts on swapping out calipers with other M vehicles? It seems odd that there was not a factory option for M brakes for the F25.

Again, I just picked up this vehicle so I am learning as I go.

Yeah, the M sport package on the F25, was for the most part, cosmetic, not performance oriented. I mean most of the M Sport models have the "Sport Suspension Delete" option, making them a true grocery getter with a load of ///M logos
People have used larger brakes from other models on their F25, search the forum. I find the stock F25 brakes more than adequate for my use and have no desire to spend money upgrading them.

Good advice. Stock F25 brakes are quite good unless you're regularly putting your car on the track.
