Mechanical hum after turning off car?

Just bought an 08 X3 and when I turn off the car, I hear a mechanical hum not loud at all but noticeable.

Is this the fuel pump cooling down by chance or should I get it checked out?

My X3 is the base Business class.

They all do that, not a problem. It is the fuel system.
