My first brand new car

I have been saving for many years to buy a Bimmer. I finally took the plunge on 9/7/13.
I am awaiting delivery on my car, and the excitement is building. I have been calling the 800 number every day to check on the status. Production is now done and it is being transported.

I assume I will be picking up my car just in time for my October 15th birthday.
Wow this will be the best ever birthday gift from me to me

At first I chose the color blue water, then change to vermillion red, also love the mineral silver.

A bit nervous to take car home, but finally happy to have my dream car, and brand new at the same time.

That's fantastic!
Just enjoy the "ride" and you'll be in it soon! My birthday is the day before yours, but I got my red one last week.
I fretted over the color till my wife got sick of me. But I have no regrets on the Vermillian. I never see it around here, so being rare adds to my enjoyment of the color.

Thanks for your input MrFargo13. I have only seen one red once on the road. It was really hard to decide on the color. Saw one in the dealership and it looked real nice.

You have your 35i loaded.

I am female, did not need much extras.

Mine: X3 Xdrive 28i VR with Beige, Fineline Sienna wood trim, Driver assistance package, X-line exterior trim package, heated front seats, Rearview camera with top view.

I am excited, but not a bit to much, one will have emotions with any large purchase. and who wouldn't be excited about their first bimmer ??
My car arrived at the dealership today, So I will be driving away real soon.

I'm glad you're excited. I was tickled to see your post. I came from driving a 21 year old Toyota pickup truck, so I'm not convinced you're more excited than I was. But then again, the truck was my first new vehicle, not the X3.
I can't wait for you to post your thoughts in the next few days. There are plenty of people on here that are looking forward to it.
(Just don't give it the impression that the X3's a chic's car...lol)

Happy birthday to you too, when it comes. The car I am giving up is also a 21 year old Toyota Camry. I own it for almost 15 years. It was my dream car back then, and it has served me well.
I will post my thoughts, experiences, pictures etc...

I picked up my new ride on Saturday 10/12/13. It was a 60 mile trip to my home. The ride is very impressive, I am learning all the new features. I live in NYC, I can't wait to go for a long ride, maybe down the NJ Turnpike to test this girl out. Name: 025.JPG
