Unwanted Battery Condition Messages

Evening all,
I recently had the misfortune to suffer a flat battery on my 2016 X4 due to the vehicle being left unattended for some time.
I recharged the battery by connecting directly to the battery terminals rather than connecting to the jump terminals under the bonnet and which I have since learned should have been used and now have dashboard messages relating to the battery condition and even unwanted Check Control messages on start up and shut down that will not go away.
Does anyone know how to remove these unwanted messages now that the battery is back to full charge and operating OK.
cheers guys
