They've got a real problem with how those wheels look on the M Sport. Not liking them personally

I agree about that the 18" don´t look good. I´ve ordered it with 19" but now I´m a bit worried it won´t look good... I bought the 309´s for the winter, in worst case I will switch and have the 309´s in the summer instead. Hope we´ll see some more pics of m-sport soon.

The US configurator doesn't look correct to me. It says DDC is part of the package but when you look at the updated 360 view it doesn't add the picture with the control for it. It only adds it when you include the DHP package. Based on the description of M-Sport, only Performance control is overlapping with the DHP package, not DDC. If DDC is part of M-Sport that would push me over the top!

Oh wow, that looks nice. That M-sport look really give the a car a much more aggressive stance. I like it. And yes, I am really holding my breath to hope that carbon black will be one of the color choice!!!

I agree with the wheels.... its not THAT nice... i personally like the other 19" wheels that come with the sport package or the SAV package instead.... however, i am getting used to the M sport wheels...

Pretty sure they have carbon black. There is no m sport package for the x3 on the Canadian site, yet I ordered mine with carbon black already as it was available on my CA's spec sheet.

Subjective call again, so far, in pictures, I like the 369M wheels as well as the other 19"ers, the 309s. Either one looks better that all the other choices to me.

+1
I wonder if they will eventually go with a staggered setup for the M Sport? That would make it much more appealing in my book.

I think the weels look small because the doors are huge, they go all the way down to the sideskirts so the proportions of the side view are weird. In the SE version the black plastic at the bottom make the care look more streamlined, so the wheels are correctly proportioned, thats how the car has been originally designed. I also think the back has something not convincing, less "powerful" then the SE one IMO.

Think once people see it in the flesh, people will have a different opinion. But when I think about it, no model through the years has looked better without M-sport. And much the same goes for the AMG and S-line packs for Merc and Audi.

Frankly, since Bangle left and von Hooydonk took over the BMW design has become more mainstream, but also more dull. With the M-sport the cars atleast get some aggression. The same is true for the new F10/F11 models.

Hi there,
I noticed that the M-Sport package replaces the leather interior with "Pearlpoint cloth-leather upholstery".

However, when using the Build Your Own function from BMWUSA website and chooses the M-Sport package, it allows me to retain the leather choice I selected earlier (which I prefer over the leather-cloth". Any thoughts?

Carbon black

I confirmed with a dealer today that they can order an X3 Msport with carbon black exterior even though bmwusa.com configurator doesn't offer the color.
