Google maps send to car

Mine doesn't seem to be getting to my car anymore...is this a pay for service after a trial period? I thought it would be for at least the warranty period.

You have it for as long as you have BMW Assist.

"On suitably equipped 2007 through 2013 models and 2014 X6 Sports Activity Coupe, the BMW Assist™ Safety Plan is part of BMW ConnectedDrive, included at no cost for four years from your BMW's in-service date. Starting with 2014 Model Year, most vehicles will receive BMW Assist™ Emergency Call and TeleService as standard for 10 years, and have other services available either as standard or optional equipment."

OK thanks. I'll try it again. Maybe I need to re-enter my e-mail address.

For Canada, 2013 the BMW Assist was for 1 year and MyInfo( send Google Maps to car using your email & BMW Assist account) works.

For 2014, the BMW Assist is for 10 years, but to use MyInfo, you need option ZTY Connected Drive Services Prof with ARTTI.

In the alternative, store the address on your cell phone, retrieve in Navigation under My Contacts. Hence I did not pay to extend MyAssist.

The BMW Assist FAQ says:
Just visit maps.google.com and search for any business or street address. When it appears, select "More" and then "Send," choose "Car" and select "BMW," then type in your e-mail address on file with BMW Assist as the account name, a personal note if desired, maybe a phone number, and hit "Send."
I'm not seeing "More" or "Send", etc options in Google Maps. Sounds like a useful feature, just gotta figure out how to use it!

strange as it may seem i did this and it worked. maybe i just reset something with the new google maps. I'll try it again with lower-case to see if it still works. i don't see why it should be case sensitive.

^ mines always required all capital letters. When I set up the car when I first got it, the BMW assist guy told me to type all capital letters. Good Luck
