Independent repair places in Salt Lake area?

I'm headed to Salt Lake for a while. Does anybody know a great independent garage that works on a 2012 X3 35i? I've gone to BMW of Murray but they can be pretty expensive. I also might need an alignment there. Any thoughts as to where I can get one besides the dealer? One other thing...I might buy a new set of tires there also. Is Discount Tire a decent place to get tires? Thanks for your help.
