The good, the bad, and the ugly. First X4 stock photos

I'll keep my comments to myself since I'm not a fan of this car but I thought I'd share some photos of our first one that just got off the truck. Ask me questions if you have any. I will say this, you have to be 4 feet tall or less to be able to get in the back seat without knocking yourself out with such a low roofline.

The fact that we got one lol! No, but in all seriousness, I think there is a market for this car just not a very big one. I'm still confused as to who really this is supposed to attract. The less affluent who want a X6 or someone in the market for a SUV but does not need the practicality of the X3, which in my opinion, looks so much better. Especially with the M Sport kit.

So you're saying this roofline is smaller than a 3 series sedan? from a pic, doesn't look like it.

The X4 is for those who wants an X6 but can't afford it... which is me.

Other than the general shape of the X6, it looks nothing like the elegant, smooth flowing lines of the X6.

You really need to see it in person to know what I'm talking about.

I had a look at the X4, it also lack quite a few things you'd want in that sort of car, like a nice panoramic roof etc. The X4 just looks like a fatter GT

That's the reason why no one has bought the one we have in stock yet. Same reason why no one is batting an eye at the 435i GC in the showroom as well. These cars look too damn close to the fugly GT models that came before them.

I am the one!

I bought my X4 (has not arrived yet), because:
-sportier than the boxy X3- there are people buying sports cars.
-inline 6 petrol Engine- Best in Class
-8 speed gearbox - Best in Class.
-AWD- Best in Class. Live in Sweden.
-easy in and out - except for rear.
-leather/textile sports seats.

X4 35i MSport, Carbon Black, all performance upgrades, 310M Wheels.

Congrats brotha! Like I said its not my cup of tea but I know people will buy it. BMW would not have built it if they felt it wouldn't sell.

It looks like half SUV & half sedan. I think it will die like the Acura & Honda Crossover that did last long...

I thought a long time about this. In favor of the X4 are sportier looks (not a soccer mom car). I drove it on the "track" at the Ultimate Drive Event and the rear visibility was not as much of an issue as when just sitting in the showroom checking it out. Even the back seat was not an issue for me or the other passengers. One big negative for me is the small sunroof. I decided to order an X3. In the end it just felt "right" when I drove it. I love the light from the panoramic roof and it's still a bit cheaper even when packed with all the options that are standard on the X4.

I would still get an X6 if not for the price. In that case the sloping roof on the F16 does not hit the headroom too much in the back and takes away some of the "bigness" I feel in the X5.

honestly, its a cheaper alternative to the X6...........which the X6 doesnt make much sense to begin with.

if you're gunna get an SUV, you're pretty much getting it for its ability to store and transport stuff, neither the X6 or X4 can do that as well as the X3 or X5 can.......but i guess BMW wanted to create a new market.....the useless SUV market.....and its working
