Agree, a turbo 4 cylinder isn't going to give better real world mileage. See A4 and WRX. If you use the power, you'll use gas.

They have already stated that the Z4 and the 528X are getting the turbo 4 in the US along with the new 3 series. It seems radical to me that they would keep the 3.0. They dropped it in the x5 over a year ago and they must have direct injection for emissions so goodby 3.0.

The turbo 3.0 gets better gas milage than the 3.0 NA. The things some people post are really strange. They should put v8's in all the 3 series using this theory since they get better gas milage. The M3 gets great milage.
