Hey Guys. I have the BMW apps option, and I really do like it. I like having Pandora and I like the Plug-In iPhone interface mirroring. But I don't always feel like using the dock for short trips because 1) I have to remove my bumper case from the phone 2) the phone is at an awkward angle for me to read the screen (while stopped) and 3) I often forget the phone in the car. So I remembered the I have this aftermarket dock that I havent used in a while, and low and behold, it fits nicely in the cupholders. What do you think?

Thats sick! I would definitely be cautious of it falling over though.

They are very high quality and made from a block of aluminum. You can get one that fits naked iPhones / Iphones with bumpers or another one that fits iPhones with most cases. Check the compatibility chart. The USB cable comes with it and is not detachable. No audio out, use bluetooth audio.

Does the mount hold the iPhone steady enough while driving, in particular using the iPhone sat nav? I still have 3-4 weeks for my X3 and can't quite tell if the angle is good enough to see the screen?
