FF is not available from the Dropdown list of predefined settings. You need to change the Werte Value directly:

Digital speed appears in the BC Cluster, and you must cycle through the settings with the BC Stalk to display it.
Tks Shawn, I'll try that again and give you the info later.

In the meanwhile, can you advise on how to remove the seatbelt warning?
I couldn't find the 3001 section in ACSM module...

Do not restrict your search to just a section like 3001. These vary by CAFD version. Use the search bar at the top, and search for FDL Codes by name. Understand though that the search bar searches only from the Top => Down, so make sure you start at the top of the CAFD, and do not have any leading or trailing spaces in your search term.

Shawn, regarding this issue I read and understood how to change werte value. Tks
However, still don't know which option to choose under Ausgelesen (1st parameter), because it only has "nicht_aktiv", "8_kmh" and "3_kmh" whereas the cheat chart only refers "value = FF" in the "new value" column.

You change only the Werte Value. Leave the Drop-down alone. It will change to Unknown after you write custom Werte Value to ECU.

It worked and I found it, tks.

This one didn't work. I searched thoroughly the entire CAFD and it isn't there.
However I found strange that inside the ACSM module there are 3 CFD files with green check marks. But when I "read coding data" only one file turns into a folder, the other 2 have errors.

Report:

Is it possible that the wanted function (remove the seatbelt warning) could be inside of either one of those 2?

Is it possible to change CAFD values offline and then connect and start in the step 19? If so, do I still need to read (VCM) in SVT Actual?

It is in the 1st (Top) CAFD, so that explains that.

Download and copy to your CAFD library folder (C:\Data\psdzdata\swe\cafd):

Yes. You can read ECU, disconnect from car, make changes offline, connect back to car, and write changes to car via Code FDL. You will need to Activate FA and read SVT again.

Tks Shawn, download it already and will give it a try.

Another question: so that file I just downloaded was missing from psdzdata archive. Since I have 6 other CFD files with green check marks that don't turn into a folder, I might be missing those as well.
Can you check error report attached and if so send those files?

For example the CAS module has 1 with green check mark and it won't generate .ncd as well.

Tks

Best I can tell it is as follows:

But, in that case, why am I not being able to access CAS module?
There is plenty to code therein...

Ok! Sorry for being insistent but I still have some difficulties in understanding all this.

But thank you very much, I wouldn't have been successful without your help. Tks for being there!

BMW made changes to PSdZData beginning with 54.2 and expanded upon them in 54.3, and expanded upon further in 55.0 / 55.1 where they removed descriptive text from CAFD (and FAFP) files, making FDL Coding of many ECU's impossible using regular PSdZData files.

Tks for the explanation. But if you mention "regular PSdZData files", can that mean that other type of files may exist now or in the near future that can be used for the same purpose?

Shawn, remembered another one: I read somewhere in this thread that it’s possible to code the function “move the car with the door open”, but I can’t find it in the cheat chart.
Do you know where is this?

So, if I reading this correctly the next time I get the X3 serviced, I won't be able to code anything if the software is updated... True?

Regular being the normal source for PSdZData, which is ISTA/P. It is conceivable though that BMW has a master set of Untrimmed PSdZData, so I leave open the possibility that FDL Coding is still possible, but even assuming they do, having that copy leaked out would be unlikely.

I am not aware of such code. I think it may be possible to Reverse with door open so long as Seatbelt is on and CAS = ER_KEYOUT_AUTOVR = aktiv is coded.

Yes, that is correct, at least not FDL Code anything. VO Coding is still possible.

For VO Coding you select the ECU itself, not the CAFD File.

VO = Vehicle Order

VO Code = Coding of all FDL's (100% of the ECU) to predetermined settings based on the Vehicle Order.

Connect => Read FA (VO) => Activate FA (VO) => Read SVT (VCM) => Right-Click on ECU (the ECU itself not the underlying CAFD) => Select CODE.

FDL = Function Data Line

FDL Code = Coding of individual FDL's in an ECU, overriding the VO Coding.

Connect => Read FA (VO) => Activate FA (VO) => Read SVT (VCM) => Right-Click on the ECU CAFD and select Read Coding Data => Expand the CAFD Folder by clicking + symbol => Right-Click on the CAFD file and select Edit => Edit CAFD as desired => Click the Blue Floppy Disc Icon to Save CAFD => Click the green back arrow icon => Right-Click on the CAFD file => Select FDL CODE.
