No, you do not need to write modified FA to car. Simply load modified FA, Activate it, and FA Code ECU(s).

So, what's the most useful option to code? I already have tailgate that opens/closes with remote (EU version). I guess adding more power is not an option, and that would be the most interesting part for me, since I have the weakest engine there is - sDrive18d with 136HP.

Is it possible to code tailgate to close with remote without having to keep button depressed, like for the opening?

Also, is it possible to leave cluster illumination collor to white during night too? I am kinda tired of this orange. Ambient lighting can go white easily, so why not instrument cluster?

I just want to thank you for the link and all your help. I was able to change the start up screen to M sport, remove the iDrive disclaimer, and add mph to the BC on my F25. This is what it looks like...

lol was wondering what sort of movie that was for a moment

Nicely done, but possibly a big distraction. Need to somehow get the HUD to project the movie onto the windscreen so you can also keep your eyes on the road.

I guess you could do the same with the rear view camera as well.

It is actually a funny music video. I'm playing it off a USB stick. The song is Rosana by Wax.
I think you can turn off the speed lock for the rear camera. I'm not sure you can mod the HUD.

Just ordered a 2015 x3 f25 with full active LED headlights and high beam assist.

Will this give me the ability to code european anti dazzle for the lights, ie will I get the good camera, or do I also need to order speed limit info or something else to get KAFAS2?

Anyone know? I can adjust the build for the next few weeks.
