I bought the cable and the software (on a thumb drive) from April1. It worked right out of the box on my 2013 F25 and I did not have to obtain anything else other than follow exactly the excellent directions April1 provided and I was able to code everything I wanted to.

I didn't want to deal with different versions of anything so it was well worth getting it all from the same place to me. It says on the About screen it is E-Sys Version 3.18.4.

Yes, it matters.

The PSdZData version you use to code the car must be >= than the last version of ISTA/P used to program the car. The application of SIB 61 38 12 most certainly had the dealer reprogram your car with current ISTA/P, which will be either 2.49.1, or 2.49.2 depending on if they updated their ISIS server in the last few days.

The last version of PSdZData working with E-Sys 3.18.4 and "Free" EST Token for F25 Chassis is 48.3, which you will not be able to use.

You will need 49.x PSdZData, which in turns necessitates newer E-Sys with Token.

Thanks, Shawn, and that makes sense. Is there an easy way to tell (without my ENET cable) which ISTA/P my car has at any given point in time?

No. You need E-Sys, and any version of PSdZData to at least connect to the car and read your I-Level Current:

49.2 is available. Only one new CAFD was added, so I don't think this will be an issue. If you need it, it most likely can be added to your existing 49.1 CAFD library.

Just wanted to say thanks to April and Shawn for assistance with setting up my E-Sys.

I got the cable superfast from April and got all the software links from Shawn.

My setup is running on iMac with VMware running Win7 32bit.

Here is what i've coded so far

- Unlock doors when engine stops
- Close tailgate with FOB and button on the driver side
- Disable legal disclaimers for NAV and Backup cameras
- Changed annoying Auto/Shut off to last remember setting.
- Tire pressure and Temp reading
- Windows, Locks, Mirrors folding with FOB and Comfort Access
- Digital Speed in BC
- DVD while in motion

Does anyone know if there is a way to recode sidemarkers to only turn on while using turn signals. I had this done on my previous E90 and liked the look much better. I saw there was a code for F30 but didn't see anything on F25.

For F30, it is:

MAPPING_SIDEMARKER_L_OUTPUT = off
MAPPING_SIDEMARKER_R_OUTPUT = off

Look in FEM_BODY or FRM, whichever you have, for these or something similar.

I check FRM folder since i don't have FEM_BODY and could find anything that resembles MAPPING_SIDEMARKER.
I did a search on the entire folder for the word SIDEMARKER and the only 2 entries i see are the one in the picture below.
