I thought v. red was one of the best red's I've seen on car. But in the sun, it blows your socks off! Beautiful!

Beesting...I hope you got a great deal. That's quite a distance to drive in some of the worst traffic in the US.

The wheels are painted inside Black Metallic it may not be easy to see on these pictures.

Very dull day will take some better ones.

Hello. What a good looking car

I must admit I have never seen wheels with black painted interior before. But it makes sense since the inside is most affected by break dust build up. Question: Did the dealer provide this as a service or did you have some other contacts to do the paint job?

Dealer did the whole job for £180.00
Thats paint and rebalance and fit.

This was before collection.

Yes you are correct it is the 2012 model week 40 built.

VR looks great, but I want to see it in person. My dealer doesn't have any X3 VR but they do have a 3 series coupe in VR, but looks more on the hint of a dark 'orange-ie /clay' side than the "maroon" tint seen in photos. Are all VR metallics the same for all BMW vehicles?

I realize camera color setting and lighting can change the color tint. Which photo on thisthread so far looks to be closest to the true VR color?
