E-SYS

Hey Shawn, I recently got a chassis error code on I-Drive and I think it might be due to my coilovers, even though they were installed a few months back. On Bimmerlink I got 4 codes : "Valve coil - (location such as front left) - online check valve error". After doing a lot of research the only thing I could think of was EDC, and my shop also found 4 EDC codes on ISTA. Could you please send me the new E-SYS so I can try to code the EDC completely out? Thank you, and if there is a forum with the instructions on how to code it out on a 2017 M240, that would be really useful too. Thanks for all the work you've been doing in these forums-Kevin.

Deleting EDC on M240

Has anyone by any chance deleted the EDC on their M240? If so, what was the reason for doing so and how did you do it. I only found 1 other forum for M240's doing this and some people were asking what to unplug because it is different than in the M3/4 I think. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated, thank you for the help.

Windows for E-Sys

Also, does the laptop you are using have to have Windows 7 or older? A video I found from a few months ago said that E-SYS will not work if the laptop has newer than windows 7, was wondering if this is still true.

I'm trying to get it working, not sure why it won't. I have 14 posts made from a week or so ago, I'll try to post another I guess, do all 4 posts have to be in this exact forum?

Thanks man!
PM me your VIN (last 7).

And also the Donor EPS VIN if you know it.
Are there FSC for NBT and higher already, came back to coding after a year or two?

And would you rather go full PSdZdata or lite?

Yes, not all leave factory with 3-Year FSC Code.

You need Full PSdZData only if you are programming (flashing) ECU, else Lite is all you need.
