This might be rubbish and I have no evidence to back this up but I thought I read something somewhere when I ordered that they can only take the £1000 if they have to sell your car to someone else for less than the price you agreed, and then you would only lose the whole £1,000 if they had to sell for £1,000 less than the price you agreed

Ordered a 2.0d SE, Sparkling Bronze with beige interior.
Options include Visibility pack, Climate Comfort Pack, Extended Storage Pack,
Dynamic Pack, Access Pack, Cold Weather Pack, Auto Gearbox, Pro Media.
Electric Seats with Lumbar Support. Sun Protection Glass, Reversing Camera with Top View, Variable PAS, DAB Radio, Universal Remote, Pro Loud Speaker System, Telephone USB Audio Interface.

Only wish i had ordered the 19" alloys.

Waiting to hear about delivery date, was told between 12 to 14 weeks.

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your order!! Very nice spec

and I've not seen many UK SB X3 orders on here so it will stand out from the crowd.

If that 12-14 weeks proves accurate you're going to wind up a lot of members who in ordered last month and have Sept/Oct as a delivery date

It does depend on dealer allocation so you may get lucky but I would assume that 12-14 weeks is very optimistic to avoid disappointment.

maybe it didn't take into account the 6 wk delivery from the US over to here

Sorry for bringing this issue up again...I know it has been discussed on quite a few threads before. Is anyone aware of X3s with either Havannah Brown or Red Brown interiors in dealers around East Midlands/ London? I'm torn between the two. I've seen Red Brown on a X1 before but never a Havannah Brown. My car is due for production in mid May and I still have the option to change one way or the other.

I've seen pics of both these interiors throughout the forum but difficult to really get the feel of it for obvious reasons. Currently I've gone for the Red Brown with fineline wave trim...same as alpineweiss's combo...those pics seems to be closest to true colour I've seen on images.

Now been given build week 40, then I pressume 6 weeks after that for delivery. All equates to pick up around 14 Nov. Ordered on 10 Feb, so this equates total of 9 months, 4 days, from order to delivery in the UK.

Sorry to hear that. 9 months is way too long. Looks like new orders placed now might not even be delivered before Christmas!

That sucks! I feel for you. On the other hand, just to make you feel a tad better, I'll tell you that I was supposed to take delivery of my X3 (built at the end of December) at the end of January / early February, and so far I have not yet managed to do so - and not through my own fault. To think that my X3 had to lay dormant for months with no chance of getting to it is indeed quite harsh.

i've just been emailing Matt every couple of wks with queries on specs, and through that found out about my build wk... fingers crossed it doesn't change again.. he did say that even that wasn't confirmed

Good news of sorts.

Ordered Mid-December for beginning of March delivery. Revised to April delivery.

Now in production but will take 7 weeks to deliver from ... Austria? Yes, that's how up to date the dealership is.
