In our opinion, the changes worked. The X3 is the best BMW crossover, and arguably the most fun-to-drive crossover on the market.

The X3's interior is improved from last year with some nicer materials, contrast stitching and more useful space. The dashboard features BMW's typical sturdy soft-touch materials, with light or dark wood trim, but the design is somewhat stark, especially in black. The tan interior provides more color and contrast, creating a more inviting look. Overall, the feel and fit and finish match the price.
