If you have Bluetooth, you should be able stream audio via Bluetooth with your iPhone paired and I think this independent of smartphone integration but the US options are different to UK. You might need to re-pair your iPhone to get this to work

It's as good as your 3G connection is but you get no control or display on iDrive - unless you have 6NR. I use streaming audio for podcasts a lot and it works well

Hi sfax, this might be plainly obvious but could you please confirm the following:
1. You can only control internet radio from your iPhone (ie. Pandora) if you have 6NR. 2. You can still stream services such as Pandora via Bluetooth. Anything more complicated than that? ![]() |

I just drove from Moab UT to Denver CO in early model (pre6NR) listening to Pandora using the white iphone USB cable. It worked well almost entire trip except some of the slot canyons where I lost cellular data. No big deal that it doesn't show on display of X3. Pandora displays on iphone.
