Seemed like a good reason to post!

Before discovering this forum I had on order an xDrive28i w/ SAV and a handful of options that ultimately (after lots of reading and a handful of iterations) evolved into the following:

xDrive35i
Black Saphire Metallic
Black Nevada Leather
Brushed Aluminum Trim
Premium Package
Cold Weather Package
M-Sport Package
Premium Hi-Fi
Comfort Access Key

I'm hoping it lands before the end of April (delivery to NY). When it does arrive, I'll be sure to review/post pics. Thanks all for the input!

Good stuff. Mine is being produced this week as well. You will probably get yours before I do, just based on distance from SC. Enjoy!!

Congrats and happy waiting. You'll love the black sapphire - but it only stays clean for about 10 minutes after washing! I am also considering trading my 3 Series for the 35i M Sport... so show lots of great photos when you get yours! One photo request: the door sills... want to see if they put the ///M door sills in the X3 or not.

Would you let us know when you got your production number? Since I just got mine, I want to estimate how long I need to wait to have my car. Thanks.

Depending on what you've ordered, from order to arrival, 3-5 weeks is probably reasonable estimate.

Nice! 2days after build start it heads to shipping

I got lucky with an early build mine was started april 6th finished april 8 th and put on a train april 13th. Delivery to distrib on the 25 th in my hot little hands by the end of april

Yes they do. I posted interior pics from the Chicago autoshow with it.

Congrats, very similar to what I purchased. You are going to love it. Yes the metallic black does not stay clean for long, but when it is clean it looks awesome! The premium Hi Fi is also well worth it and so is the keyless entry.

I completely disagree that the keyless entry is worth it. I went to the BMW X3 event at my local dealer and wanted to test the keyless entry out.(I was thinking about getting it). It worked maybe 3 of the 10 times I tried it... It was in my pocket and everything and I could not get it to work!

I have had it twice before in a 535 and in my M3. It works just fine and is a great help in accessing car with things in your hands. Your experience was likely due to a low battery in the fob. Not typical. Very useful.
