Lighting Package, Homelink, HomeWorks?

Anyone know anything about the BMW Lighting Package on BMW's website that allow you to turn on a house light from inside your vehicle? It looks like you just plug something into a socket in the house and use the buttons on the rear view mirror.

I'm curious what else is compatible with this feature (Homelink, HomeWorks, etc.).

Anyone do anything particularly interesting with this?

It is x-10. Not the best of tech but it will turn on a light pretty cheap. Dont buy it from BMW though, pretty easy stuff to find. If you happen to have a Lytton lighting system they have a piece that will convert it for you.
