Whenever my head lights are on, my parking lights are also on. The green parking light symbole is also lit on the dash. This happens when the head lights are on automatic or manual. Is any of this normal, I haven't seen this on any of my other BMW's? Main concern is the green parking light symbole.

This is normal, they are your day time running lights.

The DRL can be deactivated via iDrive if you like.

So the day running lights, the two halos, and the yellow parking lights are the same feature? Thank you for your responce.

I think GrumpII's confusion is the fact that the yellow parking lights are on as well as the two halos. I've noticed the icon in the dash as well and it is a bit weird. The icon is on when I'm in my garage but then it stays on - meaning I'm driving around with my daytime running lights and parking lights on. One would think once I'm out in the sunshine that the icon would go out.

That's the headlight symbol.
