My cars are both too new to show any signs of yellowing, but I do use this and the lights look great. I've used Wolfgang products to restore headlights on older cars and it works wonders.

Perfect! That's the exact type of product I'm looking for. Thanks for the recommendation.

No problem. Autogeek is a good company too. They usually throw in little bonus gifts if you order a lot of stuff. Last time they gave me a free bottle of Lexol!

Ive had Xenon's in my E83 X3 which was from 2004, never had any yellowing issues.
Is this issue only proned to non-Xenons?

No, it can happen to xenons. But it usually won't show up for years.

After 7-8 years, my lens were all chipped and yellowish and instead of spending 25$ on product and 3 hours of time to buffer the lenses, I just bought new one for about 125$. Cheap lens cleaning kits sometime gives good results only for 1 year and problem comes back.

If you do find your headlights yellowing you might try using a mixture of baking soda and water to clear up the lenses. I usually use a couple spoons full of baking soda mixed with enough water to make a runny goop. Then rub it on and buff it off. Works great, is basically free, and no harsh chemicals are used up in the process.

Been doing this for years on our older project cars and it works great. I have not had a post model year 2000 vehicle turn yellow but if I ever do I'll try this method first before I spend $25 bucks on a product that may or may not yield your desired results.

This is a good way to clean lenses, but it won't protect the lenses from future yellowing. A good uv protectant will go a long way.

I've seen some people use 3M wrap on their lights to protect them from chips. Kinda like a clear bra. Not a bad idea.

Agreed. Definitely will not prevent yellowing.

most of the yellowing or "whiting" you see on cars is due to lack of care and maintenance. My E90 just turned 4 years old and the lenses are as clear as the day it was born. I do have 3m film over them, but also had a E91 for four years without the film and never had a problem.
Most of that is oxidation.
