Hi everyone, I've got a 28i on order with the Executive and Premium packages selected. I have a few questions:

1. How good is the 12 speaker stereo? I'm not an audiophile, but I love to blast the music when I'm by myself.

2. Has anybody in Toronto taken delivery yet? I placed my order late Dec.

3. Is there a number to call for the production status for Canadians?

I don't know about any 28i though.
3) My CA can log into the BMW system that has a status code and a delivery code, including rail delivery, which is how cars usually get to Toronto. The expected date is pretty accurate and in fact it can be even a bit conservative.

Yes, I ordered a loaded 28i on Friday, Jan 21st. My car went to production earlier this week and delivery is expected on/about Feb 25th. As noted above, your CA has access to all delivery info so he should be able to tell you where the car is etc.

The 12 speaker audio system is really good; they had a turbo 35 in the showroom and I had a listen to it; sounded great! With respect to the number you're referring to, check the bmw.ca web site; I believe there's an 800 there you can call but you'll need your VIN number for them to assist you (where your car is etc).
