The interior looks great to me in fact the iDrive (without the hump) looks fantastic. I know this is a scan but that wood looks cheap too shiny and plasticky. I hope they offer aluminum or a nice grey wood.

Yeah I was wondering about the same thing looking for ex. at the odo seems white? I really liked the signature"" bmw red dash maybe a small thing for some big thing for me can't imigane why they would change that electronics can come in any color

Front indicators aren't LED = Fail

This kind of stuff makes me feel that they think people are stupid and wont notice.

I can already predict that the facelift will get LED front indicators.

I hate it when they do that.

I hope so too, but I have a feeling they won't do it until LCI. I would predict new headlights with LED signals and bumper mounted orange reflectors at LCI. I have a bad feeling that area you highlighted will be orange in the same way it is on the pre-LCI e90 and on the 1er's...

Lots of hate on the old x3, everyone that I know that has one likes it and people that I don't know personally that have them that I've spoken too also seem to like it just fine...

I'll probably end up with one (old body style) as a DD once the price starts to drop because of the new model. Not selling the ZHP, just adding another e46 based vehicle to the stable.

From the cut in the front door going toward the rear ... the car looks great.

The NOSE; from the front view & the side view ... Meeehhhh

The Interior, compared to recent beautiful interiors (X5, 7, 5, Z4) ... it's a BIG let down ... Sorry BMW, it's just not good enough, you can do better!

Poor little X3, it got a great surgeon to do a make over on it (Body) ... but it's still the ugly little duckling in the family. Guess we'll have to wait until LCI refresh or complete new model, for her to get a new nose and face.

Again, nice job on improving the profile look and the rear also looks very nice.

That's my 5 cents on it.

I hate BMW marketing. Z4, X1, X3, X5 LCI, M3 LCI, 7 F01 do not get LED side markers / LED corona rings / LED brakes. To get them wait 3-4 years for facelift.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder but in my opinion, now I know why BMW is delaying the introduction of the X1 to the US market for 6 months after the release of the new X3.

I'll stay with my plan to go with an X1.

I can't really figure out what BMW is doing these days with its manual transmission offerings. They seem to realize that more buyers in North America what a manual as compared to Europe (witness the E60 M5 and F10 550), but it appears that they may have reversed themselves with the new X3 by offering a manual in Europe but not North America. I hope I'm wrong.
