Hello,

I just got a 2011 X3, and there are various minor issues. I was wondering if anyone has seen this issue with the rear camera before. All I know is the previous owner said it doesn't work.

With camera enabled, it doesn't attempt to display an image. The brightness/contrast.. options are all greyed out.



I did a couple hours of research, and wasn't able to find anyone with the same issue. I did a hard reset, and want to attempt re-plugging the cable.

I checked the VIN, and it's not an aftermarket install.

I fully intend to work on everything myself, if I can avoid going to the dealer. Including working with the software. Looking forward to giving that a try. I did the same with my 01 E46.

I re-plugged all the cables on the back of the head unit to no avail.

Can someone please share what the coax connectors are for?

Blue/Magenta/White/Orange

The orange port is empty.
