Exclamation HELP! Paging tire and wheel experts (BrockDM and others)

I started talking to Andy over at ORT wheels, based on this listing

https://x3.xbimmers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2103707

And working with them to do carbon-copy of 789M in gold bronze (M5CS). He suggested 275/40 and 315/35 20s tires on 10/11" rims.
The calculator numbers look amazing, but I have significant concerns with fitment, rubbing and "poking" past the fenders.

I really dont feel comfortable with this setup. I would like to do 275/45 and 305/40 20s, and there are some good options in those sizes.
The other question is, what offset do I need to make this work?

Opinions/Suggestions/Comments/Concerns are more than welcome.

Let me hear from the experts.

Hey Taco,

I'm running this setup, with no poke at all...
Vossen HF-5s in Satin Silver, Deep Concave
21x9.5 ET16 with 275/35-21 PS4S
21x11 ET35 with 315/30-21 PS4S

Thanks for chiming in. I'll be doing 20s but will go 40mm and 35mm sidewalls. I'm still very hesitant to do 35mm given the stiff OEM suspension. I'd love to do 275/45mm and 305/40mm but those are very rare sizes and can barely find any tires.

But on your setup,

Do you have any issues with rubbing?

How much space do you have between the end of the rim and the suspension?

How much stiffer is the ride driving on rubber bands?

What tires are you running on these sizes?

Thanks again for the info

These are the better tires I saw in the size I want. Aside from the whole STAR debate, suggestions/concerns?

Do you have any issues with rubbing?
No, but I'm not lowered at all, stock suspension

How much space do you have between the end of the rim and the suspension?
No issue with clearance to the suspension at all, did trim a very small part of the sound insulation at the top just as a precaution.

How much stiffer is the ride driving on rubber bands?
It rides better on my 21s than on my winter 20s to be honest.
My winter 20s are:
Asanti ABL-31 in Satin/Gloss Black Deep Concave
20x9 ET25 with 265/45-20 Pirelli Scorpion Zero AS
20x10.5 ET38 with 295/40-20 Pirelli Scorpion Zero AS

What tires are you running on these sizes?
As mentioned above, my 21s are mounted with PS4S

Didnt see the PS4S. Thank you much for the follow up, appreciate it.

EDIT: forgot to mention. I'll be going MSS but will leave them at the highest possible setting. Talking to Ben from RGSport, leaving it at 40mm front and 45mm rear should put me at around 1/2" drop from stock, mostly due to springs settling down.

I feel it's cutting it close.

FYI, the second number is the ratio of sidewall height vs width, not a standard height. A 205/40/16 has a smaller sidewall than a 305/30/20

Ben can help you with the fitment and sizing of the wheels/tires as well... he's a great resource.
He's seen a LOT of these
