Retrofitting Rear Seat Entertainment

I'm wondering if anyone has attempted a retrofit of the rear seat entertainment that is to be found in 5 and 7 series (and X5 and X7), having a X3 F25 myself. Or, if anyone wants to share their opinion on the feasibility of it.

I am mostly worried about the mounting of the 2 screens and the center console unit. What does everyone think?

To be honest - I dont think that is the right play in 2023.

Modern entertainment is done off of tablets and phones. I would recommend looking into specific mounts that hold your guests personal devices (example think of modern day airplanes that are now incorporating phone mounts)

Likewise, think of quality of life improvements, do charging cables assist? Are guests wearing wireless headphones or earbuds?

Another way to do this would be look at 2024 vehicles and see what they are doing, rather than trying to retrofit the ideas from 2014....
