2022 X3M Competition finally arrived

Alright folks. First time bmw owner. This car absolutely rips and could eat my old AMG for lunch. I’m thinking about making some modifications but nothing too crazy. Any thoughts what I should do? Maybe some small performance or aesthetic things.

Stunning congrats!

Most people like myself will do an aftermarket midpipe and axleback exhaust. That's mostly for sound but there are performance gains.

Other than that not much this thing is a beast from the factory.

Other popular mod is MSS springs to lower, or KW if you're going all-in on suspension.

Thanks I will check those out. Any axle back recommendations? I think DINAN has one

Yup I have Dinan myself.

Dinan, Remus, and Akrapovic are the popular choices for our platform. That's also the order in terms of price from most affordable to most expensive. A full Akrapovic exhaust kit (axleback + midpipe) will set you back ~$6k+. The Dinan axleback is around $2k.

Popular midpipe options are r33_RGSport / Evolution Racewerks non-resonated, and Eisenmann. Both seem identical in design but Eisenmann is more expensive. There is also a Dinan midpipe but it's only partial, very affordable though.

Everything is on this forum for member experiences so just do some searching.
