Oh crap. Problem installing my Dinan Sport Tuner
Installation was simple enough. Unplug the sensor from the intake and piggy back the Dinan unit in. When I started my car the engine took longer then normal to turn over and then I got a Drivetrain Malfunction error.
Any ideas? Last edited by airbagit13; 11-04-2017 at 03:52 PM.. |

I just removed the Dinan Sport and the motor started as normal and I didn't get any issues. I am still wondering what is causing this issue though because I want this bad boy to work.

The install looks correct to me. The only time I've seen a Drivetrain Malfunction error was when I disconnect the battery, then reconnecting it upon a JB4 setup. However, once I drive, it goes away...which is very standard procedure for the JB's.
I'm a little baffled why the Dinan caused a Drivetrain Malfunction error. Reach out to Dinan and see what they have to say. As Silver mentioned, it might be a defective unit. |

There going to warranty your sport box, one thing is with it plugged in how bright is the led on the box. I’ve installed one and defective right out the box.

The LED is very bright red. Been trying to call them all day and keep getting a voicemail. Left a message, just waiting to hear back from them.
