F20/ F25 / F30 has no CAS. Try FEM_Body. This will only change the delay at which the mirrors / windows / moonroof opens and closes while holding CA Ridges or Fob. It will not adjust the mirrors independently of the Windows and Moon Roof as you asked.

I am pretty sure this temperature is hard coded, as unless you are Mother Nature and can change the physics of what temperature frost occurs at, then there is no reason to change this value. However, I think it is enabled via S842A Cold-climate version Option Code and can be disabled by FDL Coding Kombi => CC_TEMPERATUR WARNUNG = nicht aktiv. As for the duration of the Heated Seats and Steering Wheel, I have no idea, as I have never had the need to look into it here in Houston. If it can be changed though, it would likely be in IHKA, and the FDL Codes I would look at are these: ERSTE_HEIZZEIT_HHS_A ERSTE_HEIZZEIT_HHS_B ZWEITE_HEIZZEIT_HHS TAKTDAUER_HHS TAKT_AKTIVZEIT_HHS ABLAU_HEIZZEIT_TAKTUNG

Dealer just upgraded the firmware on my car a few days ago. Forgot that I would need to reprogram everything including setting up for all of the LED's. I also realized the software I have now is likely not going to work anymore (about a year old and stopped serving it up via BT many, many months ago).
Would you please send me a fresh link of the software and tokens I'll need to restore my X3 to it's former, customized, LED glory? I assume the directions have not changed? Thanks!

I got my BMW X3 F25 2013mod for two months ago.
I live in Norway, but the car is imported from England. I want to be able to troubleshoot the car myself. Can I upgrade the firmware on my car? Do I achieve something with it? New functionality? Can anyone help me get ESYS or other software? What cable do I need? Found many on ebay, but what do you recommend? |

Shawn you have helped me before re Nav updates. May I impose upon you to also send links to the necessary software and tutorials please. I am starting from knowing nothing more than I need to purchase a custom ethnernet cable, download the so called E-Sys software, and purchase some sort of activation code for the software.
I only have one real goal for wanting to modify the coding and that is to display tire pressures and temperatures as I think this has some real value to it. Any one tire temperature trending higher than the other tire temperatures is probably a very good early warning of an impending tire problem. I am surprised the software does not already look for this and provide an alarm at some delta threshold. For this alone I decided to go into the coding business. In addition, during the very cold weather last week, the low tire pressure warning came in. Although I was sure it was just an even drop of pressure across all four tires, I still had to manually check tires pressures in -2 degree temps, 35 knot winds, and a lot of snow. It sure would have been nice for the slick machinery on my dashboard to simply have displayed the four pressures. Displaying digital mph is a nice to have feature but it is the tire parameters that I think are worth the effort. Thanks for your help. |
