Ordered my 2014 X3 3.5 m-Sport, now the wait begins...

Visited my dealer last week, the only way to get the X3 that I want is to order it, I wanted an M-Sport white on white with every package aside from the headup display (which i hate).

The 2014's are orderable shortly, I hope the wait isn't too long, I can't wait for the new ride to arrive!

For those of you who have waited, was it a long wait? I was quoted two months.

2 months sounds about right since you're ordering a 2014 which isn't in production till April if I am not mistaken. So you're just waiting really for them to start making the 14 MY before you can get it.

I still don't have any news, from what people say, the 2014 begins production around 1st week of April. I can't wait! The anticipation is killing me...

Mine took about 5 weeks (order to delivery). Some take more or less, it just depends on the production slot, etc.

Sold it to my mom! Ordered the M-Sport version with the DHP and all the dynamic handling stuff that everyone touts on here. My 2012 lacked the DHP and I wish I had ordered it with it. So the new one has everything. When you get everything, you can't want for much.

Ahh very cool. I saw it said your 2012 had the M-Sport so I wasn't sure what it could be.

I've got DHP as well, you're going to love it. Just feels so... solid.

Hi osxcode, congrats on the ordering!
I'm new to this forum and will be ordering my 2014 X 35i M Sport in Alpine White this week with Premium Pkg, Driver Assistance Pkg, and Nav. Not a fan of the HUD, so I skipped the Techno Pkg to save 1K.

question - as you selected Alpine White, did you choose the high gloss roof rails/trim or the satin aluminum rails/trim??

I got the aluminum rails on my Deep Sea Blue, but I think with Alpine White I'd order the high gloss. Then again I'm all about the monochromatic look on a white vehicle so I'd probably paint the grilles and such black as well.

I love the Satin Roof Rails, I prefer real metal effect to painted effect. I got the call today that my car was on the ground but it was false alarm, apparently it is still on the transport truck so crossing fingers I will have it tomorrow Wish me luck!

Not anymore, I once worked on Mac 10 and on projects with google from 1997 to 2003, now I am just a Los Angeles property baron / coffee system pusher.

Hi,
I ordered an Alpina XD3 2 weeks or so after the Geneva launch (6th. March) and was told it would be in the July production run of Alpina's then shipped to Germany for Alpina to do their bit.
I should see delivery in UK late September/early October!!

Now that's a what I call a wait!

White, Red/Brown Nevada + a host of extras!

M-Sport, Dynamic Handling, Tech Pkg, Premium Package, Premium Sound, Cameras, the only thing I left off was the lane assistance thing that I found annoying. If you can't look over your shoulder, you shouldn't be driving

White Leather, White Exterior, Honey Walnut (light wood).
