Ok. Please try TC_MSA_SGR = nicht_aktiv then.

I really don't think it will matter, but first leave it as it is, and if it doesn't work after coding TC_MSA_SGR = nich_aktiv, then return TC_MSA_KSOPT to its original setting.

For digital speed readout in BC Cluster, look for BC_DIGITAL_V in KOMBI or BKOMBI, whatever you have, and set it aktiv.

What is under the hidden KOMBI menu is uninteresting.

Sorry, I don't know what the coding is for the Automatic Headlight Sensitivity is. See, I am stumped.

Got the coding working this evening. Was not as bad as I thought it would be. I coded just a few things for now, but I need to dig up the modules on several other things...

weatherband (no idea if this will work)
phone in hud
entertainment in hud

What is "digital speed in BC"?

Overall, I'm happy to get where I am and appreciate everyones help in contributing here. This is some slick stuff.

Digital speed in BC is your speed indicated on the instrument cluster just like it is in your HUD.

The HUD features are in the KOMBI/3000 module.

I must ask, is there not a reason why people, "coders", are not actively seeking ways to integrate more codes to utilize the HUD? That is the biggest feature I feel is untapped and has HUGE potential. Does anyone know if there are any break throughs waiting for the HUD?

Thanks for the feedback

Also, anyone in Germany willing to do a meet up for some coding on my F25?

Just received her in November from the Factory.

Thanks again

The reason I don't probably has a lot to do with the fact that my F10 doesn't have a HUD. Beyond that, the HUD is limited to what it can do based on KOMBI, as the two are interwoven.

As previously stated in this thread and the coding wish list thread, I have been able to display the turn signals, entertainment info, incoming call info, and previous calls info in the HUD. The only other thing I think I could code to display without additional VO coding is the voice command info. I think the M options require either additional hardware or VO coding to match the option for the HUD on the M5. Anyone know of anything different?

Do you guys think the BMW dealer would change these settings if you tell them exactly what settings you want changed when the car is in for service? Is that wishful thinking?

They couldn't even if they wanted to. E-Sys is factory floor software. The dealer has only ISTA/P, which can not do FDL coding. ISTA/P programs entires ECU's based on the Vehicle Order, and nothing more.

To get M-HUD functionality, you need the M-Instrument Cluster. As I said, the HUD and KOMBI are interwoven.

Sadly, it is wishful thinking. BMW AG (the mother ship) and BMW NA (US and Canada) have jointly decided, for various reasons, what features to enable or disable in the NA market.

Yes, many of those features may be modified by coding, but your BMW dealer isn't going to do it for you, and, based on Shawn Sheridan's post, can't. What BMW AG and BMW NA have ordained cannot and will not be changed by your dealer.

Yeah that's what I figured. Wishful thinking. I'd really like to figure out how to display the boost PSI somewhere, like the cheesy HP/TQ gauges.

Displaying boost would be pretty cool gadge. I now kinda wish I went with the tech package for the bigger screen and the fancier BC but o Well. I still love my SAV

It's not present. I also have the M package. It's different on an actual M car.
