Ordering new 2013 X3
I'm ordering my new 2013 35i X3, Space Gray/Oyster, in the next couple of weeks so I'll be new to the forum I also have a 2011 135i which I just love. My question to everyone is, I'm paying about $4100.00 below MSRP with incentives, is this a good deal?

I personally think it is better to deal from invoice up. It is common if you shop around to get $500 over invoice.

The question is: what is the optioned MSRP of your car? If $4,100 represents at least a 7% discount, then you have yourself an enviable deal.

The X3 is responsible for an unprecedented annual increase in overall North American BMW sales for the company. So...yeah, still hot.

I'm shopping around for x3 right now as well
35i AW m sport premium premium sound tech cold weather package so far got 1500 above invoice, obviously looking for something closer to just invoice. My question is will i get the incentives in addition to what price i agreed on? Also how reliable is edmunds.com in regards to invoice pricing... Thanks, PJ

Wrap anything in bacon and it's instantly better.

I got my 28i Space Grey M Sport, premium, premium sound, technology, cold, convenience for 6.8% below MSRP after negotiation. Anything better than 6% below MSRP is a great deal in my book. I had to travel 150 miles to find it, but was worth it. Drive home was awesome!

Dealer, Other Incentives?
Hey bmw4cal,
Who was the dealer and was this in stock or ordered? Was the $750 customer loyalty or any other incentives included in the net price? Thanks, Lee |

Irvine BMW. It was in stock. Since my sister lives at the different address, $750 loyalty does not apply. I'm not aware of any other incentives.

The X3 is on our short list for a vehicle of this form factor, but it's hard to determine from talking with local dealers what they actually sell them for. I'm disappointed that all the formal incentives seem related to financing rather than the vehicles themselves . . . .
Have you found that dealers will negotiate less when they know you can apply incentives in an effort to apply a portion of those incentives to their own bottom lines? |

Edmunds is right on. You should be able to get $500 above invoice. You need to call 4-5 dealers and take the lowest price to the dealer closest to where you live/work and they will match it if they know you're serious about buying the vehicle from them. |
