Hi all,

I need some help coding my F25. My car was in for a re-programing last week, and I tried to code my car today. I got to the step to read each green CAFD, but got the following error.

"cafd_00000909_004_033 Fehler: File for "cafd_00000909_004_033" not found! [C012]"

I looked through the files in the cafd folder, and could not locate cafd_00000909_004_033. Is it because the F25 is coded with newer software? Where can I get the latest cafd files?

you need to upgrade your psdzdata set to at least 47.4 or higher. That has your missing file.

Did you copy and paste that error straight out of E-Sys?

The name cafd_00000909_004_033 is too short. The error should read something like this, just as an example:

File for "cafd_0000000f-005_022_007" not found! [C012]

There should be a dash in it, followed by 9 numbers in 3 sets of 3 numbers each. Yours is missing the dash and one set of 3 numbers.

I can't tell exactly what you need as it is.

Yes. The link I sent you a short while ago will have this CAFD. This first appeared in 47.1, so your PSdZData is probably 46.4 or earlier.

You can do simple coding and revert back at the end of lease.

I want to thank April1 for his guidance through the coding process. I purchased the cable and software from him a couple of weeks ago to code our F10 and it worked like a champ. We just picked up our new F25 this week from the Factory in Spartanburg (Performance Delivery is the way to go!). I tried to code it yesterday using my memory from coding the F10 the week prior, but everything was erroring out. I contacted April1 and he walked me through a couple of issues. Bottom line is that I went back to the beginning and followed his instructions to the letter and all codes were accepted and it is working great! I was even able to change the setting on the Auto Start/Stop feature to "last setting" so no trip to the dealer for me. If you don't have cable or software then contact April1, he has a great package and it was the best $75 I have spent on the cars!

Of course SW is freely available.

My efforts have been to provide systematic help to beginners who want to have very limited risk during initial coding and who want to have a proud feeling of saying "I did it. "

I know that the SW is available for free and I could have built a cable but I consider the $75 I spent for Cable, SW (including 32GB thumb drive) and great tech support a better deal plus he got it to me (CA to FL) in two days!

A question.But if I do a backup of settings of my car and then service do an update of my software so they reset my settings,could I copy paste the settings that I have saved?

Restoring the save .NCD files isn't copy and paste, but you could restore them; however, I don't think I would. When the dealer programs you car, many of the ECU's will have the firmware updated, which means it will use a different CAFD now, and your .ncd backup based on the old CAFD won't match. After dealer programming, I would once again, read all ECU's, and backup all the uncoded .ncd files, and then FDL code everything from scratch, and then back up the coded .ncd files.
