NAV MAP issue reporting

I was given this tele atlas url by my SA today to report map or navigation issues. The site seems pretty good, I will see how they follow up on my reports.

Great. I reported that the Dallas BMW still points to their several year old address!

Are you expecting an update from them or they would use it to improve their maps for future releases?

I just expect them to fix their maps in the next release, unfortunately you still have to pay for the update. I did this with Navteq on my X5 and found that they did fix their maps.

Now all I need to know is who I report routing problems to...

Same site allows reporting of routing problems of various types.

I'm amused that my very large BMW dealer is not found by my in-car GPS.

I'm NOT amused that BMW is going to want to charge me for a map update at some point, which hopefully will know my BMW dealer.

I still have 2 Garmins that I either loan to friends or use for when I'm traveling away from home. I have free lifetime updates, and get 2-3 free updates each year for those GPS. Sad that Garmin has better service than BMW.

The CIC NAV application that displays the maps and calculates the routing is developed by Becker which uses the Tele-Atlas map data.
