1) This is not a track car 2) I've owned several track cars 3)If you are talking abuot dedicated track cars, I'd expect them to be gutted for weight reduction. The GT3RSR, doesn't even come with door handles. This is still a heavy luxury sedan that can be tracked(with no areo for that matter) and Alcantara is completely different than that hideous vinyl MB Tec crap. And if you want to even bring in Alcantara into this conversation, it's used because it can be flame retardant and it has superior grip. And like M3 WC said, why the hell would you buy a Black Series and not have the Aero "DTM" package? That is the entire point of this car, to be more sporty and trackable. IMO if you are not going to get (or can't afford) the fully opted out Black Series, just get a standard C63 coupe or C350
