Hi

For Australia X3/2011 model, how would we know if the car has 6NR (BMW app)? Thanks

If this cradle is inside the arm rest you have the BMW APPS Option

Mine has that cradle (I hate it - it stops you using the centre console)
but I did not order BMW apps and I have no idea what it does.

Is there a menu item or something else that will pop up because I have it?

Under ConnectedDrive, you should see a menu selection called BMW Apps if you have it.

6NR is not available in Aus. Posts that talk about ConnectedDrive are irrelevant here too, as we don't get that either. You get the cradle with 6NF here.

Swallowtail, does that means that Aus model has 6NF in x3 2011?

Not as standard....

but yes, it's how you get the cradle here in Aus.

How much does it cost to retrofit it?

I am still unclear about the use of 6NF. Let’s say if you have an iphone and does not have 6NF, can we just use the Y-cable and plug into the aux-in outlet for the iphone? Btw, any use of 6NF if business nav sat is fitted?
